Dr. Dinesh Gupta located to Tullahoma in 1994 after completing his training at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and established a Cardiology practice designed to serve the local community. He is trained to perform Coronary Angiography and Interventions; Peripheral Angiography and Interventions; Transthoracic and Transesophageal Echocardiography; Implantation and follow up of Pacemakers and Defibrillators; Tilt Table Testing, Nuclear Stress Testing Interpretation and Interpretation of Vascular Studies. In addition, he has been actively engaged in conducting clinical trials for development of new treatments for management of cardiovascular diseases. Over the years, the motto of the practice has been to provide prompt and competent Cardiovascular care to the local community close to home.

He and his family have called Tullahoma home for over 30 years. They have strong ties to the community. His wife is an Internal Medicine physician in the community and his two daughters graduated from Tullahoma High School. He and his team of providers provide consultative services at Vanderbilt Tullahoma Harton Hospital in addition to providing outpatient consultative services. The practice office is conveniently located on campus of the hospital since its inception.

Dr. Osama A. Ibrahim, MD, FACC, FSCAI is an Interventional Cardiovascular Medicine and Endovascular Medicine Specialist. He is a regional and national pioneer within the arena of Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD) awareness and Limb salvage/Amputation prevention.

As a key opinion leader within the vascular arena, he chairs and co-chairs several national and international conferences, Dr Ibrahim relocated to Tullahoma where he Joined Dr Dinesh Gupta with the vision to develop a Regional Comprehensive Vascular Program given the extensive amputation rates in rural middle Tennessee. Dr Ibrahim has successfully developed, managed, and expanded several vascular programs and service lines in Ohio, Minnesota, and in Florida prior to moving to middle Tennessee. Dr Ibrahim serves on and chairs several steering committees and advisory boards for various healthcare entities and chairs multiple national leadership committees within several organizations including the American College of Cardiology (ACC), New Cardiovascular Horizons (NCVH), American Heart Association (AHA), and Society of Cardiac Angiography and Interventions (SCAI). Besides his efforts for amputation prevention and implementation of treatment algorithms for management and early detection of PAD. Additionally, he is involved with HealthCare Policy and Healthcare Management. He serves as Medical Advisor for The Congressional PAD Caucus and as the Chairman of Department of Medicine at Vanderbilt Harton Hospital.

Dr Ibrahim was born and raised in the United Kingdom and arrived in the US in 1997. He received his postgraduate training in Internal Medicine Residency training and Chief Residency at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. His Cardiovascular Medicine Fellowships were at The Harrington-McLaughlin Heart and Vascular Institute at Case Western Reserve University/University Hospitals Case Medical Center in Cleveland where he also served as a Chief Fellow. Additionally, he completed an NRSA funded 2-year Basic Research Post Doctoral Fellowship at Case Western Reserve University within the departments of Physiology and Cardiology studying transcriptional regulation of the cardiac myocyte and fibroblast. Finally, he completed his Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at Case Western Reserve University/University Hospitals Case Medical Center.
